Virtual Logistics are a third party logistics company offering outsourced order fulfillment. If you’re not familiar with the terminology, it basically means that we look after storage, packing and shipping of products on behalf of our clients.
You choose which parts of the process we do for you. You also have complete control over how your orders are packaged and delivered.
Our simple integration process means that we can be shipping your products in as little as 24 hours.
The first step is to plug your website into our warehouse management system. We do that for you.
We will also integrate your existing eBay and Amazon marketplace stores. Or we can set up new ones for you.
In addition, you can sell products via our high-performing eBay shop or Prime-rated Amazon store.
If you don’t yet have a website, we offer design services and can build you one at a sensible price.
We receive your products and check that the delivery is complete. If there are any discrepancies or breakages, we inform you and your suppliers.
We then barcode your products and link this to the product into our system.
You can choose to send us all of your stock, or just a proportion of it, to help you to scale up at peak times.
Once we’ve checked your products, they’ll go to the appropriate areas in our environmentally-controlled warehouse.
Our warehouse management system uses the barcode to record exactly where each product is stored.
That means that we can find them all quickly and easily when your orders come in.
Picking & Packing
Once you have received an order (either via your own website, or your marketplace shops), we get an immediate notification.
Our picker then collates the order and packages it in the exact way that you have specified.
You have full flexibility to customise your packaging and inserts.
Once the order is packaged and ready to go, we ship it using the delivery method that you have specified.
We have multiple pick-ups per day and all orders received by 3pm will be shipped the same day.
Our full integration with Royal Mail includes bulk shipping discounts. We also work very closely with all major couriers including ParcelForce, UPS and DPD.
After Sales Services
Efficient after-sales customer care and returns processes are vital to maintaining customer loyalty.
Our fully personalised customer care means that your customers will never know that they’re talking to us instead of you.
We can also take over your returns management and deal with getting the products ready for resale or returned to the supplier.
